Self Confidence

Self confidence or believe in oneself is the notion of being confident, be yourself and dare to be different. Self confidence has a lot of effects on our daily life.

Most of my students, friends or people who I know have very low self-esteem. They worried about their friends’ acceptance for what they do or how they dress. Then they will start to be like their friends, like what their friends like and do what their friend does without actually feel. Thus starting a phenomenon where everyone will like the same thing.

But too high self-esteem sometime give a euphoria that u are much better than the others, thus you will think what u do is the right thing. You cannot accept others advices. You strongly hold on your believe without balance it with the religion views, moral and acceptable etiquette in a society.

So, it is good to have self-esteem, but always consider what other people have to say.

2012..Kebangkitan Seorang Ummah

Alhamdulillah, ada lagi nafas aku di 2012 ini. biarpuna agak sesak nafas aku pd 2,3 hari yg lepas, dihentam, di tikam, diugut mereka2 yg tidak faham siapa diri aku, tp mujur, semua itu menguatkan lg hati aku untuk mengikut resolusi 2012 aku:

 "Biar apa pun terjadi, ALHAMDULILLAH"

lalu Kalimah tahmid itu terus2an bergema di hati aku setiap kali nafas ku sesak..Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah.

Aku redha dgn apa yg Allah tentukan untuk diriku, aku terima kerana rezeki aku masih ada. Mungkin tiada ramai yg tahu, tp aku tahu Allah tahu..Amin Ya Rabb

Apakah mungkin

Pandangan Kedepan Masih Ada
Ketika Kulihat Keatas
Bintang Bertaburan Dan Bulan Bercahaya

Last night was merdeka night, but my merdeka was in the hostel, together with the students. but I did light up their night. literally. even tho it cost some money, I did not really care.. what I care was my promise to the students..for them to be able to live their merdeka. but because I'm too pre-occupied with the lighter, I missed the whole meaning of merdeka. I know I am merdeka, but how depth is my roots, how defining is my knowledge and how truly do I know about myself..

CPS Review:

First thing come to mind after reading this poem was about the seductive and lustful love. Not to delve to deep into that, let us discuss on the surface level only.
The poem discusses on the eyes of a man, alluring, seductive and dangerous.

The connotation of two pools of lies layered with the thinnest ice strongly suggested that the man eyes is very deceiving, deep, calm but dangerous, just like a pool in winter. It may look inviting and peaceful to see a still lake, but when you try to walk on the thin ice, it will break and you will drown in the icy cold water.

Another connection was the term “Eyes are windows to the soul” thus here, the icy eyes shows that the man have a cold, ruthless heart, ready to gobble up gullible woman. The eyes also quiet (stealthy/underlying intention/udang sebalik mee) and imploring (domineering/controlling/powerful)

Second stanza, young woman are too gullible, naïve and easily influenced (first hand experience) especially concerning with love and emotions. Thus, the advice was NEVER to compromise with the wrong guys. This is because the “hows and whys” a.k.a the art of seduction is something that will entangle the woman in its webs for a long time. And the man with this knowledge will not only suck the woman dry emotionally, but also physically, financially and then toss her aside, useless, broken and valueless…

The last stanza,

Nice mean nice : no underlying intention, truthful and honest

Then you'll never be losing at dice: love is a risk taken by both side, they take turns throwing the “dice of life” and if the woman is smart, she will be safe in the relationship.

Though you may lose your heart once or twice: this is the risk in love, but broken heart can still be mended, but there are things in a girl that once broken, forever gone.

Love Can NeVer HaPpen

Huhu..It is true that love between a monkey and a dove will never work. Its such a shame, the monkey have tried climbing the highest tree to be with the dove, but It can only be with her when she is down, taking a rest after a long flight. The Monkey really wish that he have wings right now, so he can fly together with her. This is life..

A Monkey can only climb and swing,
from one tree to another,
whilst The Dove can fly,
in the blue sky high...

I know my place in this world...
